Job Opportunity at Esperanza: HIV Medical Director

Esperanza Health Center seeks qualified and committed candidates for a two-days per week position as its Medical Director for HIV Services. The HIV Medical Director would:

1) provide outpatient primary care during three half-day sessions for HIV-positive patients throughout the continuum of disease

2) consult with other HIV clinical staff and oversee the CQI clinical program during one half-day session per week.

Required qualifications: MD or DO, board-certified in family medicine, internal medicine, or infectious diseases, 1 year supervisory experience, experience in or willingness to learn about the service area, passion for the gospel, and Spanish functionality (or willingness to learn). Consistent with our missions focus and the desire to devote maximal resources to patient care, professional salaries are sacrificial. Providers have received loan repayment via National Health Service Corps, the Pennsylvania Loan Repayment Program, or Project MedSend.
